The 29th Anniversary - 26 July 2009

Ibne Safi's is remembered on his 29th Anniversary.

Ibne Safi's 29th Death Anniversary this year did not pass unmarked. TV channels and Newspapers both played an active role in highlighting this memorable day.

First time ever at the government level, Arts Council of Pakistan arranged a talk show on the legendary writer and invited prominent Urdu writers and scholars.

At this historic moment, Dr. Ahmad Safi also presented a unique gift to Ibne Safi's fans. These are various sketches drawn by the great writer himself.

A research paper from Dr. Christina Oesterheld, Heidelberg University, Germany is also included here with her permission.
